We are known in our diving circle as the Viking
Women...Me, Cindy, Deena and Pat. We were
dubbed that name years ago when we were
diving in New Providence, Bahamas. We out
dove everyone. If the boat was leaving, the four of
us were on it. The name just stuck. We were all
certified at the same dive shop in Racine, Wi. in
the same year, but did not meet until we all went
on our first dive trip with the dive shop. We hit it off
and are now the best of friends.
The 5th Viking Woman, Larissa, joined the group
after we met her on a trip to the Cayman Islands
in 2006. Although she lives in Colorado, we keep
in touch and invite her to go on our dive trips.
